BIOGRAPHY
Chad Kunkel joined Christian Brothers Services in 2024 to lead the company’s Risk Management Services division. A seasoned executive management professional with three decades of comprehensive experience in the insurance industry, Chad has demonstrated expertise in leadership, sales, underwriting, management, administration, project planning, and marketing of insurance programs throughout his career.

He has served as a leader within organizations, including overseeing multiple programs and substantial premiums as Division Executive Vice President with Artex Risk Solutions, Inc., where he led diverse teams of up to 40 individuals, spanning across underwriting, sales, financial, risk, and program management. His achievements at Artex include significant contributions to revenue growth, client retention rates exceeding 95%, and developing new group captive programs.

With a proven track record of success, an ability to foster strong relationships within organizational culture, and a dedication to excellence, Chad will continue to drive innovation and growth at CBS. He heads a division committed to maintaining high retention rates and offering innovative programs and exceptional customer service to Risk Pooling Trust members.

Chad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
