claims processing services include state-of-the-art
claims software. As more claims are filed electronically,
there is less need for paperwork. Therefore, CBEBS
does NOT require claims to be submitted with a claim
form.
Our turnaround time for claims is 5-7 business
days from the time the bill was received to the
time an EOB ( Explanation of Benefits) is issued.
The "REMARKS" box on the EOB informs
the participant exactly what was processed, what
was paid, and what the participant is responsible
for, (all if applicable).
Members of the Program can access their Explanation
of Benefits (EOB statements) online.
