This year, students in our Disrtict schools have generously continued to support their less fortunate sisters and brothers in their "twin" Eastern African schools.
Students of La Salle Academy in Providence, RI have raised $8,066.24 for Rongai Secondary School in Kenya. Some students and teachers will also visit their twin school in July.
The De La Salle School in Freeport, Long Island, New York has sent $261.41 to Mwangaza College in Nakuru, Kenya
Besrate Gabriel School in Dire Dawa, Ethiopia received $3,400 from Holy Name School in New York City.
The 62 boys of The San Miguel School in Providence, RI raised $1,010 during the Lenten season for Rongai Secondary School in Kenya. The Martin De Porres Academy in Elmont, LI, NY sent $10,000 to their twin school - St. Joseph's School in Keren, Eritrea.
