BRO DAVID HAS AUDIENCE WITH POPE

On September 18, 2008 Brother David Carroll was granted an audience with the Holy Father as a result of his board membership on Pave the Way Foundation. The Foundation conducted a symposium from 15 to 17 September on Pius XII and his efforts to save the Jews of Europe. Interestingly, Brother Robert Pace FSC was one of the exemplars cited in the presentation of Fr Dennis McManus SJ (a Brother's Boy). Brother Robert worked for Vatican Radio and helped to save Jews and downed RAF airmen during WW II.
