LASALLIAN MISSION ASSEMBLY

Districts of Baltimore, LI-NE, New York and the Delegation of Toronto will sponsor a LASALLIAN MISSION ASSEMBLY - August 8-12, 2004

ALL BROTHERS ARE INVITED TO THE NIGHT UNDER THE STARS GALA ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 16, 2004 at 6:00 P.M.

Please call the provincial office by next Friday, August 8 to reserve a place.

 Brother Stephen Creagh who celebrated his Golden Jubilee on Friday, July 11, 2003, at the Immaculate Conception Center in Douglaston, NY.

Thanks to:

 Brother Anthony Scotto who designed a beautiful banner for the District Jubilee Mass at Christian Brothers Center, Narragansett, on June 21; the banner features the Founder and all our canonized and beatified Brothers.

 Brother Thomas Carney and Brother William Farias for their assistance with maintenance matters at our new community house in Freeport.

 Mater Christi Alumni Association will have a reunion at the school on Saturday evening, September 27, 2003 beginning with Mass at 5:00 p.m.  Bill Higgins, the principal, extends an invitation to all Brothers who served at Mater Christi to attend.  If you can be present, call Bill at the school: 718/721-7200  ext. 286

 Brother Nicholas Picciano who is recuperating well after treatment for kidney stones.

 Mrs. Elinore Fontaine, the mother of Brother Dominic Fontaine, who recently entered a nursing home.

 Mrs. Katherine Kemmerer, the mother of Brother William Kemmerer, who is recuperating after a slight stroke.

 Brother Leone Morelli, former Assistant Superior General for Italy and Postulator General (1976-1995), who died on June 21, 2003 in Italy.

 Brother Peter Stewart, Christian Brothers Center Community at Manhattan College, who died on July 3, 2003.

 Rev. Monsignor Guy Puglisi, Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Brooklyn, who died on July 8, 2003.

 Mrs. Angela Picciano, the mother of Brother Nicholas Picciano, who died on July 21, 2003.

 Mr. James Fallon, the father of Michael Fallon (Signum fidei), who died on July 22, 2003.
