Christian Brothers Services administers a 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan and a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan. Both plans cover the lay employees who work for Catholic organizations or dioceses.
403(b) RETIREMENT SAVINGS PLAN (CBRSP)
The Christian Brothers Retirement Savings Plan is a 403(b) retirement plan which allows a participant to save for retirement on a tax-deferred basis. The employer can also contribute to the Plan through a matching and/or discretionary contribution. All contributions are 100% immediately vested in the Plan. The participant has a number of investment options from which to choose, including socially responsible investment options. Administrative fees are charged in hard dollars which is more cost effective to the employee.


401(k) RETIREMENT SAVINGS PLAN (CBERSP)
The Christian Brothers Employee Retirement Savings Plan is a 401(k) retirement plan which allows a participant to save for retirement on a tax-deferred basis. The employer can also contribute to the Plan through a matching and/or discretionary contribution. The employer can choose from a number of vesting schedules in the Plan. Only employer contributions are subject to a vesting schedule. The participant has a number of investment options from which to choose, including socially responsible investment options. Administrative fees are charged in hard dollars which is more cost effective to the employee.
