Christian Brothers Services Looking Forward to 2010 RCRI Conference
Romeoville, IL, August 2010 - Christian Brothers Services is excited to be participating in the 2010 Resource Center for Religious Institutes (RCRI) National Conference taking place in Anaheim, CA, September 14 – 17, 2010. The theme of the conference is Entrusted with the Future. Christian Brothers Services is proud to present four expert speakers at the conference. Topics will include Audit of By-Laws and Termination of Employees and Using Insurance and Contract Principles to Shift Risk for Your Religious Institute, presented by Andrew Kopon, JD of Kopon Airdo, LLC, the National Coordinating Counsel for Christian Brothers Services, the two-part series Liability Issues and Limiting Exposure presented by Michael Airdo, JD of Kopon Airdo, LLC, and Roger Duffield, director of risk and claim services for Christian Brothers Services, and Retirement Insecurity presented by James Ceplecha, managing director of retirement planning services, Christian Brothers Services. Christian Brothers Services will be hosting a pre-conference workshop on what the Health Care Legislation means for religious institutes. Sessions focus on legal, accounting, actuarial, tax and health care industry implications. The workshop will be taking place on Tuesday, September 14. “We are excited to be hosting the pre-conference workshop, and are thrilled to currently have over 200 people enrolled,” commented Bob Brusich, Christian Brothers Services director of sales and business development. “We are looking forward to informing members on such a hot topic, and want to be a reference point for anyone who may need additional knowledge on the health care legislation.” Christian Brothers Services will be available at booth #510 throughout the conference and will have 17 Christian Brothers Services employees available to talk about the programs and plans developed specifically for Catholic organizations, as well as answer any questions attendees may have on the latest collaborative and cost-effective programs, including plan flexibility and greater coverage and benefit choices. Christian Brothers Services will also be hosting, along with Christian Brothers Investment Services, Inc., a hospitality gathering on Thursday, September 16. The gathering is for current and future CBS customers who are RCRI members. Based out of Silver Springs, MD., the Resource Center for Religious Institutes (RCRI) mission is to “enhance the living of religious life by providing integrated education, advocacy, and consultation to meet current and emerging stewardship responsibilities.”
