Romeoville, IL, June 2010 - Employees from Christian Brothers Services came together to raise over $7,500 for the United Way of Will County through various fundraising activities.
Beginning in early 2010, CBS employees were able to contribute to the United Way of Will County via personal donations and payroll deductions. On Friday, June 4, a jeans day was organized where employees paid a $5 fee to wear jeans to work.
All of the money raised went to the United Way of Will County which works with local volunteers to identify and solve critical issues faced by many Will County, Illinois residents. For over 70 years, the United Way of Will County has helped children and youth succeed, families and individuals achieve self-sufficiency, strengthen neighborhoods, and maintain a safety net of essential human care services.
