New Claims Payment System Vendor
October 3, 2011 - Christian Brothers Services (CBS) announced today that they have
entered into an agreement to lease the claims payment system of Allied Benefit Systems,
Inc. (Allied). Allied replaces The Principal Financial Group, which announced last year
they were exiting the health care market.
The change, which will be taking place throughout the remainder of the year, will offer
Christian Brothers Services a state-of-the-art claim payment system, and allow for
updated management and processing efficiencies. “We are pleased to be working with
Allied,” states John Airola, managing director of Christian Brothers Employee Benefit
Services. “We remain committed to providing our membership with comprehensive,
quality programs along with the exceptional customer service our clients have come to
expect from us.”
In addition to leasing Allied’s claim system, Christian Brothers Services will also be
utilizing Allied’s health care management programs and consulting services. These
programs and services will allow CBS to continue focusing on improving the overall health
of their members and providing superior health care benefits..
