Brother Michael Quirk, FSC, Ed.D., Appointed to the International Economic Council in Rome

Romeoville, Ill., November 17, 2014 – Brother Michael Quirk, FSC, Ed.D., president and CEO of Christian Brothers Services, was recently appointed to the International Economic Council for the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools by Brother Robert Schieler, FSC, Superior General of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools (De La Salle Christian Brothers).

“I am honored to serve in this very important position,” stated Quirk.  “I look forward to working with the Superior General, Brother Bursar General and the entire council.”

The function of the International Economic Council is to help the Superior General, his council and the Brother Bursar General in the financial business of the Order. The council is headquartered in Rome.
