Customer Service Representative – Non-Exempt, Full-time position, M-F

Our Health Benefit Services Division has a full-time opening for a Customer Service Representative. This position serves as a resource to the members of the various health trusts that Health Benefit Services administers. The role of HBS Customer Service Representative is to provide outstanding customer care to members and their providers by responding to benefit and claim inquiries, resolving issues and ensuring total satisfaction.

High School diploma or equivalent and experience working with the public or in a customer care field is required. Candidate must be proficient using Windows applications, be self-motivated, dependable and detail oriented. Other requirements include the ability to work under pressure, independently, as well as part of a team. Must have excellent written and oral communication using proper grammar with clear enunciation as well as the ability to multi-task and possess problem-solving skills. A working knowledge of medical coding and terminology is preferred. Previous claims payment and PPO experience is a plus, as is a college degree. Spanish speaking is a plus.
