Christian Brothers Services at DFMC

Romeoville, Illinois, Sept. 24, 2019—Lending its expertise on retirement planning, Christian Brothers Services (CBS) will serve as a platinum sponsor and present at the 2019 Diocesan Fiscal Management Conference from Sunday, Sept. 29 through Wednesday, Oct. 2 in Chicago. 

As the extension of the Diocesan Bishop in fiscal matters, the DFMC operates to provide leadership in fiscal management to the Catholic Church.

Managing Director of CBS Retirement Planning Services ,Jim Ceplecha, along with Managing Director of RPA Financial (Retirement Planning Analytics), Todd Timmerman, will present concurrent presentations at 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Oct. 2, entitled, “Good Stewards Are Great Fiduciaries: How to Protect Your Diocese from 403(b) Litigation.”

Ceplecha has 37 years of experience working with Catholic organizations, with the last 29 of those years overseeing the defined benefit and defined contribution plans for CBS. The retirement services division provides services to more than 1,000 Catholic Church employers with more than 40,000 participants and total assets in the plans nearing $2 billion.
