Christian Brothers Services offers free webinar series

Romeoville, Illinois, March 4, 2019—In a continued effort to provide best practice and expert information to Catholic organizations across the country, Christian Brothers Services will, once again, be hosting an array of free webinars this spring.

Webinars will cover the areas of financial services, Catholic school management, information technology, risk management and health benefits. In addition to the new live Spring webinar series, CBS provides ready access to more than 50 past webinars on demand, utilized by nearly 2,000 participants with an overall satisfaction rating of 8.5.

This month, users will have an opportunity to learn best practices offered by financial and Catholic school management experts.

BMT Consultants, a division of CBS, will host, “Finance Office Best Practices—How to Optimize Benefit Eligibility for Religious,” at 1 p.m. C.S.T., Thursday, March 7. Constance Neeson, director of benefit eligibility, BMT, will address the best practices for the finance office of a religious institute regarding managing income and assets of religious members to maintain benefit eligibility for various programs; records retention and database management.

Greg Dhyuvetter, lead consultant, Catholic School Management, will present, “Paddling Beside a Steamship: Finding Your Place (and Pace) in the 21st Century Workspace,” at 1 p.m. C.S.T., Thursday, March 14. This presentation will discuss how to maximize your resources and ways to harness the power of human and technological tools to increase productivity and improve your life.

“Our goals center on serving those in faith-based organizations by providing tools they need to do business,” said Brother Michael Quirk, FSC, E.D., president and CEO, CBS.  “Webinars can prove to be a valuable solution for those pressed for time, we are happy to offer such expert information readily available.”

Additional offerings will be available in April and May, with topics including sexual harassment in the workplace, cybersecurity awareness, planned giving and health benefits.
