Jeff Padavic Named Managing Director of Retirement Planning Services

Romeoville, Illinois, October 10, 2024 – Christian Brothers Services (CBS) announces the appointment of Jeff Padavic, FSA, EA, as its new Managing Director of Retirement Planning Services, effective October 14. In this pivotal role, Padavic will be instrumental in shaping the future of the division, overseeing the Christian Brothers Employee Retirement (pension) Plan (CBERP), the Christian Brothers Retirement Savings Plan (403b), and the Christian Brothers Employee Retirement Savings Plan (401k).


With over 20 years of experience in retirement and benefit plan management, Padavic brings a wealth of knowledge in areas such as plan administration, funding strategies, compliance, benefit design, and employee engagement. His ability to effectively communicate the value and impact of retirement plans to leaders, employees, and stakeholders was a key factor in his hiring. Padavic is highly regarded for his collaborative approach, having worked extensively with cross-functional teams and consultants to optimize pension and savings plans for large organizations.


Most recently, Padavic served as Senior Manager, Retirement Plans at Slalom, Inc., in Chicago, where he oversaw the management of a $1.3 billion qualified savings plan. At CBS, Padavic will lead a division that supports more than 1,000 Catholic member organizations and over 40,000 plan members, ensuring they have access to innovative and effective retirement planning resources.

Padavic earned a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. His proven history of driving results through a combination of actuarial expertise and a deep understanding of retirement plan operations positions him to make an immediate impact at CBS.
