Health Medical PPOs (Preferred Provider Organizations)
A Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) puts together a network of physicians and health care facilities which you, as a plan member, are encouraged to use. The difference is, most PPOs don’t ask you to select a primary care physician. This means you are able to seek treatment from a specialist within the network without a referral.
