Retirement Solutions
Christian Brothers Retirement Solutions provides customized retirement plans designed primarily for lay employees of Catholic organizations, schools, and dioceses. Our plans are designated as church plans, which provides additional flexibility to meet the unique needs of faith-based institutions. Whether you are looking to create a new plan or seeking ways to improve your current offerings, we are here to support you every step of the way.
Our Range of Retirement Solutions
Ideally, retirement income should come from a variety of sources, including employer-funded defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, your own savings, and Social Security. Christian Brothers Services offers a defined benefit plan and defined contribution plans to help your employees prepare for retirement.
Defined Contribution Plans
Christian Brothers Services offers 403(b) and 401(k) retirement plans, which allow members to take advantage of tax breaks while saving for retirement. In addition to offering employees the ability to make pre-tax and Roth contributions, employers can choose to make employer matching and/discretionary contributions. Employers can choose to offer loans and can make various eligibility and vesting elections. Employees can choose from a variety of investment options. Christian Brothers Services will guide you through the process to help you find the right solution for your employees.
Defined Benefit Plan
Our defined benefit plan is a great complement to our defined contribution plans and offers employees the opportunity for supplemental lifetime income in addition to their defined contribution plan and other savings. This plan provides employers with a cost-effective option for providing employees with a traditional pension plan.
We have been a trusted provider of retirement plans to Catholic entities across the U.S. for nearly 70 years. We understand the unique needs of Catholic employers and their employees.

Our Retirement Solutions division assists over 40,000 members with our pension plans and over 22,000 members through our 403(b)/401(k) retirement plans.
