Christian Brothers Services to sponsor Conference of Major Superiors of Men (CMSM) National Assembly

Romeoville, Illinois, July 31, 2019—Christian Brothers Services (CBS) is proud to participate in the upcoming Conference of Major Superiors of Men 2019 National Assembly, “Discerning Our Collective Witness,” discussing the future of religious life in the United States to be held Aug. 6 through Aug. 8 in San Antonio, Texas.

CBS will exhibit as a partner-level sponsor and introducing the keynote presentation by Fr. Ron Rolheiser, OMI, at noon, Wednesday, Aug. 7 . Fr. Ron is the author of numerous books and a popular speaker, retreat leader and workshop presenter, particularly in the areas of contemporary spirituality and religion and the secular world.

The assembly will explore the changing needs of leadership and religious life in four areas: (1) impact of the last 20 years on religious life and leadership, (2) leadership formation, (3) changing dynamics impacting religious life and leadership and (4) balancing ministry demands and personnel resources.

Representing CBS at the conference will be Brother Thomas Hetland, FSC, religious institutes relationship manager; Sister Geraldine Hoyler, CSC, religious institute consultant; Brother Peter Tripp, FSC, member relations associate; Mark Fontana, BMT Senior Consultant; Constance Neeson, director of BMT Benefit Eligibility Management; and Bob Fiorentino, business development specialist.                                                                       

CMSM is the canonically recognized pontifical conference organized to promote the welfare, community life, ministry and mission of 12,000 religious priests and more than 4,000 vowed brothers of the Catholic religious communities of men in the United States.
