Edward J. Barrett Edward J. Barrett currently serves as Director of Institutional Advancement for Providence Catholic High School, New Lenox, Illinois. Prior to assuming this position in 1990, Ed served as Director of Admissions and Assistant Director of Development for St. Rita High School, in Chicago. Since 1990, Ed has built a successful comprehensive Institutional Advancement program at Providence Catholic High School, including extensive communications and marketing programs, coordination of all fundraising programs, student enrollment programs, annual giving and endowment growth programs, and he conducted a successful $3 million capital campaign.

A native of Chicago, Ed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communication from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois. He has received training for institutional development by Catholic School Management, Catholic School Parish Development (CSPD), the Omaha Development Institute, and the Bishop John R. Gorman Institute for Leadership in Catholic Education.

Affiliations include the Chicago Archdiocesan Development Council, the Southwest Suburban Philanthropic Network, and the Will County Chamber of Commerce. He has been active within the St. Rita Alumni Association and the Friends of Saluki Football Organization.

Ed serves Catholic School Management and its clients on a part-time basis, specializing in comprehensive development programs, marketing programs, student recruitment programs, annual giving programs, and capital campaign planning.
