BIOGRAPHY
John Tortolani is a director and one of the founding partners of Brenner, McDonagh & Tortolani (BMT), now a division of Christian Brothers Services, having been with the firm since its inception in 1972. John has been providing financial consulting for religious institutes for over 45 years and has led large and small projects in nearly every aspect of the business and financial management of religious institutes and their sponsored ministries. His areas of specialization include financial management, planning, real estate, reconfiguration and sustainability studies.

John’s most recent projects have involved the facility analysis of a Motherhouse property in Rome; managing the financial aspects of the union of the two Provinces; a Congregation sustainability study including 22 Provinces, and a property analysis and sustainability projection for a religious institute in the Midwest.

John earned his master’s degree in organizational behavior from Iona College, New Rochelle, NY.
